Bio

Dr. Boahene is the Director of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a Professor of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and Dermatology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He specializes in ethnic rhinoplasty for individuals of African descent. As the leader of the Foundation for Special Surgery, a nonprofit providing specialized surgical care in under-resourced countries, he has made significant global contributions. His autobiography, "However Far the Stream Flow: The Making of the Man Who Rebuilds Faces," details his journey into medicine.
